SING TO YOUR MOUNTAIN

“Sing To Your Mountain,” the debut album of Rachel Galloway, is a collection of love songs and worship to the Lord. Raised the second of five children and the daughter of Lenny Smith (singer/songwriter of “Our God Reigns”), Rachel grew up learning to worship in every setting and denomination as her father would share and lead worship in various congregations. There was a period of time when the Smith family would sing and worship at home on Sundays together.

Rachel grew up classically trained on the piano and played the flute in high school band, but she didn’t start to feel free musically until she started singing with her brother Daniel Smith in his band, “Danielson Famile.” Years later she started to play ukulele and transitioned into the guitar as the songs continued to come. All of these songs are based and inspired by scripture. Family and friends have come together to play these beautifully raw and refreshingly light songs filled with love, struggle, grace, and joy.
